Spain - The English in Andalousia

Introduction:

In October 2006, I was in Andalusia to try to document among other things the "condition de vie" of the immigrant workers in the greenhouses (see the others reports produced in Spain). Near Motril, a mechanical problem immobilize my poor GS (Citroën). Waiting for the pieces, I changed my ideas by photographing the life of the very numerous English people in the region, tourists or expatriates. I see it a little like a counterpoint to the reports I am carrying out.

At the beginnig of January 2009, I read in a newspaper that the situation of the English people living in France had become more difficult by the lost of  about 30% of their economic power because of the financial crisis (the sterling pound lost a third of its value). So I thought about these images and decided to scan them. The report deserves more depth, nevertheless here it is.
